Agile Advice on maintenance projects, Yahoo India tries out Kanban

Following on from my previous post on agile for maintenance projects, I came across this post on Mishkin’s Agile Advice (do subscribe to Agile Advice, it’s really good) : Agile Infrastructure Projects – Lessons Learned.

Also, Joe Arnold who manages the Yahoo! India offices says that one of his teams has recently moved to a Kanban process. I’d be very interested in knowing why they made the change and the outcome of this change a few months down the line.

  1. Joe Arnold Says:

I’d like to point out that the kanban system that I was referring to was for a team not on a maintenance project, but for new product development. (Although we do have some maintenance projects using kanban.) I’ll post outcomes as the emerge.

I have an irrelevant suggestion in this context… Infact, I’ve posted a comment on the website which hosted your 20 min wiki guide.. “Improve your typing speed!”, for the geek you seem to be – it doesn’t seem to match you!
