Traditional Agile processes don't have a systematic framework for managing project requirement risk. Project risk management is instead delegated to Product Owners and ScrumMasters to be managed implicitly. Unfortunately, when risk is not made visible it is handled in an ad-hoc manner.

Kanban uses a "class of service" framework to manage work items. In this webinar, Siddharta Govindaraj will explain how this concept can be used to identify and manage sources of risk in your project This framework can be applied in both Kanban and Scrum projects.

LeanSSC11 Speaker This webinar is a preview of the talk I'll be giving at the Lean Software and Systems Conference 2011 to be held at Long Beach, CA, May 3 to May 6. If you are interested in learning more about lean and kanban, then you should check out this conference.
